Women Basketball team is ready to bounce back.
Hiram, Ohio- The Hiram women's basketball team is looking to finish up and bounce back from their losing streak and make history at tonights game where their two wins away from making history. With an unfortunate loss to Wooster this past Wednesday, and with only two more games in the season, the Terriers must win these next two games in order to successfully make Hiram women's basketball history. The Terriers are now 11-12 overall and 5-9 in conference. Key players coming out today for the terriers is Mercedes Jones who is now averaging an impressive 15.8 points a game and Kaylee Shockley who is averaging 10.7 points a game.
Tonights opponent, Oberlin, is 10-12 overall in season and 4-9 in conference. The women lost 55-35 to Oberlin earlier in the year at their home court. A key player the Terriers will have to look out for his Oberlin player, Lindsey Bernhardt who averages 14 points a game.
With this win the Terriers will be one step closer to making history and making a name for themselves. With their losing streak, their ready to come out and get a win tonight.
Tipoff at the Price Gymnasium is set for 1 p.m. today.
